Promoting investment in Nottingham

The theme of the programme in 2009 centres on promoting investment in Nottingham; ensuring development is competitive and viable as well as being high quality.

Design 09 focuses on bringing forward development on complex but prominent derelict sites and buildings with the intention of creating new jobs, providing new housing, attracting businesses and investment and renewing confidence in the inner and outer areas of the City.

Design 09 also sees the launch of the City Centre Urban Design Guide and the production of a Sustainable Design Guide for Residential Areas.
